As the co-founder of Still Mind Yoga, we help people to learn how to quiet their minds and strengthen their bodies through the time-tested practice of yoga. We are a collective of yoga teachers trained in authentic lineages, who work with people individually or in small groups, tailoring the instruction to the needs of each student.
I am currently not accepting new yoga students, but am able to help you get pointed in the right direction in starting a personal yoga practice, whether through video recommendation or referrals to teachers. A consistent mind/body practice is important for personal growth because it develops many crucial skills such as: concentration, mindfulness, embodiment, and the ability to remain calm amidst life's storms. There is no mystique around these things. They are skills that can be learned and practiced.
