Stephanie Slawek

RYT, Registered Yoga Teacher

Stephanie has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years, and as a yoga and Pilates teacher for over 15. In her classes you will learn to approach your practice with peaceful presence, and find a joyful balance between effort and ease. You will also improve your posture and core strength. Her personal style is a blend of vinyasa, static postures and pilates-based movements. She caters to all levels of ability.

For years Stephanie felt that something was missing from the traditional health and fitness paradigm. She found the answer when she began to practice yoga. Through spiritual discipline, mindful movement, and healthy self-care practices she was able to heal herself of severe depression and anxiety, and create a healthy body and vibrant new life. The path of transformation has led her to study the sciences of physiology, yoga, and, most recently, nutritional endocrinology--using diet and lifestyle changes to bring the body's systems back into balance. Her passion is sharing the secrets she has learned for greater vitality with anyone committed to creating change in his or her own life.

In addition to group classes, she offers private fitness and yoga sessions, as well as health and weight loss coaching.

When she is not teaching, Stephanie likes to spend time in nature and sing rock music.
